
Candra Naya Photography Society cordially invites photographers from all over the world, amateurs as well as professionals, to participate in
THE INDONESIA SALON of ART PHOTOGRAPHY (ISAP)
It will be conducted in accordance with FIAP, PSA, FPSI requirements.
ENTRY
The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization (ISAP and Candra Naya Photographic Society) or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions.
Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally.
Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates.
All final work must be on electronic file/digital format.
The entrant must be the owner of all rights of the submitted work. All parts of the picture must be photographed by the entrant.
By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his or her own and permits the sponsoring organization to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition (e.i Printed Catalogue, CD-Rom catalogue, public showing, journals etc). This may include low resolution posting on a website. The PSA/FIAP and the sponsoring organization assume no liability for any misuse of copyright. There is no possibility of recourse to legal action.
The sponsoring organization shall be entitled to disqualify any entry prior to, during and after the judging if an entrant violates the required terms and conditions.
Accepted entries are eligible for Who’s Who and Star Rating in the respective PSA division (CPID and EID). All sections are approved by FIAP Patronage 2010/054.
Submission of entries implies the acceptance of all conditions.
SECTIONS
There are 4 sections:
Projected Image Division (CPID/PI)
- Color : Water
- Monochrome : Humans
Electronic Imaging Division (EID/DIG)
- Color : General
- Monochrome : General
All entries must be submitted in digital format. No slides will be accepted.
Pictures taken on film or slide must be scanned into digital format.
It is not allowed to put a name or title or some writing on the front part of any photo/picture.
Each entrant may submit a maximum of four entries in each section.
Each photo can be presented only in one section.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to obtain a model release and the sponsoring organization shall bear no responsibility if in the future there is a claim from the photo model or a third party with respect to submission of an entry.
NUDITY AND SADISM ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ALL SECTIONS
Monochrome definition
FIAP: A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with various shades of grey. A black & white work toned entirely in a single color will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black & white category; such a work may be reproduced in black & white in the catalogue. On the other hand, a black and white work modified by partial toning or by the addition of one color becomes a color work (polychrome) to stand in the color category.
PSA: A Monochrome print is defined as having no more than one colour, but it may be any single color.
Guidelines on Water
Capture the enormous importance of water and the human interaction with water in artistic ways. Waterlandscapes, lakes, rivers, oceans, waterfalls and the underwaterworld. In this section, water has to be the dominant part of the photo.
Nature definition should be in accordance to FIAP and PSA Regulation.
Guidelines on Humans
Capture men, women, children or babies around the world from an artistic view. Portraits, people at work, people at leisure, etc. Human faces reflect emotions, sadness, love, hate, joy, ecstasy or at the most memorable time in human life. All different types of human relationships. In this section humans have to be the dominant part of the photo.
ENTRY DIMENSION
The images will be sent in JPEG format.
- The longest side should be minimum 1600 pixels with a resolution of 300dpi.
- The file should be saved on highest / maximum quality jpeg (11 or 12).
- The minimum size of the image is 350k and the maximum is 1mb per image.
- We prefer larger high resolution files for Printed Catalogue, but not exceeding 1 MB per image.
The entrant certifies that he/she is the sole owner of all the rights and elements on the image which he/she presents.
ENTRY SUBMISSION
The entry form and the images must be submitted electronically via website www.isap.candranaya.com

Entries will not be judged without an entry form together with full payment of entry fee.
Entries must be submitted before the closing date.
IMAGE FILE NAME
The exhibition has four sections:
A. Projected Image : Color -Water
B. Projected Image : Monochrome - Humans
C. Electronic Imaging : Color – General
D. Electronic Imaging : Monochrome – General
The appropriate section letter (A, B, C, D) must be used as part of the Electronic File Name.
Your surname and the initial of your first name will be used as the first part of the Electronic File Name as shown below:
surname-X-####-YZ.jpg
Surname is your Family name.
”X” is the first character (Initial) in your given name.
#### is the last four digits of your phone number.
”Y” is the Section letter (A, B,C,D)
”Z” is the image number (1-4) of the entry.

Entries without full payment of entry fee will be disqualified, will not be judged and the CD catalogues will not be sent.
NOTIFICATION CARD & CATALOQUE
Notification card will be sent by email.
Each entrant will receive a high quality salon catalogue on CD-Rom. Printed Catalogues are also available at an extra fee of USD12. The sponsoring organization will take all possible care when handling the email, awards and catalogues. However, we assume no liability for damages or losses during shipment.
EXHIBITIONS
Public viewing will be held on 16 September 2010.
